MP Supports Traffic Survey on B185

North East Herts MP Oliver Heald has been approached by Bengeo Rural Parish Council to support their traffic survey on the B 158, calling for improved safety measures at the entrance to Rickney’s Quarry.

Commenting, Oliver Heald said, “Almost forty volunteers took part in this survey led by Councillor Michael McMullen and have done a marvellous job in documenting peak traffic movements in the morning and evening of 1159 vehicles per hour. This is a hazardous opening and I am calling on Hertfordshire Highways to come up with adequate safety measures to protect local residents and motorists.”
