MP Welcomes Fresh Hope for Great Ashby Medical Centre

Commenting on the decision by the Planning and Development Committee of Stevenage Borough Council not to refuse permission for the development on the Dixon’s site, but to defer for further inquiries into the noise aspects of the application, North East Herts MP Oliver Heald said, “I am delighted that the Committee did not refuse the application as had been suggested by Officers. The proposal for a new medical centre for Great Ashby as part of this development scheme has given fresh hope to residents, who have been campaigning for many years to have a medical centre for the large estate. I hope it will be possible to resolve the difficulties and allow the medical centre to go ahead. This would be great news for residents of Great Ashby.”
