28 September 2007 MP Hands Over Further 500 Signatures on The Comet’s Save The Lister Hospital Petition North East Herts MP Oliver Heald has delivered a further 500 signatures for The Comet petition to Save the Lister Hospital. As the consultation deadline drew near, Oliver was able to deliver to the Primary Care Trust a further 500 signatures to add to those already handed over by The Comet newspaper.  Commenting, Oliver Heald said, “There has been a fantastic level of support for The Comet petition and I congratulate our local newspaper on all they have done to raise awareness of this vital consultation.”
